Levels of Care
With 3-8 hours of programming per week, this level of care is suitable for those who have completed intensive outpatient treatment, or as a supplement to another program. Individual counseling, medication management, and psychological testing are available.
Outpatient programs are offered for education around mental health, intimacy and gender specific issues, and alcohol & drug addiction and co-occurring disorders.
This level of care offers 9-15 hours of programming per week, a highly supportive and structured schedule that still permits participants to maintain work, school, and family commitments. These programs include group and individual sessions, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and psychological testing.
Intensive outpatient programs are offered for drug, alcohol, and co-occurring disorders, mental health disorders, behavioral health concerns and relationship and intimacy issues.
The highest level of care offered at Desert Star, these programs provide 21-30 hours of programming each week and are suitable for people transitioning out of inpatient care, or for those who are struggling at the intensive outpatient level of care. These programs include group and individual sessions, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and psychological testing.
Partial hospitalization programs are individualized and offer treatment for drug, alcohol, and co-occurring disorders, mental health disorders, behavioral health concerns and relationship and intimacy issues.
Desert Star offers blended Intensive Outpatient / Partial Hospitalization programing that address more than one issue or concern at a time and in relationship to each other. These programs are individual designed to meet our client’s needs.
