Co-occurring Conditions 4th Edition & ASAM Principles of Addiction Medicine 6th Edition

 

In this presentation we will explore ASAM Criteria and review the 2024;  4th Edition updates along with Presenting on ASAM Principles of Addiction Medicine.

  • A discussion will follow on the best practices for screening, assessment,  placement and treatment planning for individuals struggling with addictions, substance related issues and Co-occurring disorders.
  • Presentation on principles of Addition Medicine and best practices when prescribing medications.

Learning Objectives

  • Familiarity with and Working knowledge of ASAM criteria
  • Outline ASAM criteria’s best practices for screening, assessment, placement, and treatment of these disorders
  • Discussion on Principles and Practice of Addiction Medicine
  • Clinical issues in Arizona; what are we seeing.
  • Guidelines on placement and options for treatment.  Pros and cons.
